Service Update 3/19/20
To our valued Forrest Avenue Animal Hospital Clients,
**EFFECTIVE MARCH 19, 2020 at 1 PM**
Due to the growing number COVID-19 cases, we will be taking new measures to help prevent the spread here at FAAH.
When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you call us at 302-736-3000 or text 302-632-8102 to let us know that you have arrived. When an exam room is ready for your pet, the technician will call or text you and then meet you at the door to direct you to your exam room. We also ask that only one person comes inside for your pet’s appointment. After your pet’s examination, we will collect payment in the exam room. If you do not want to come inside the building, the technician will come to the car to get your pet. Communication and payment will be handled over the phone.
If you are coming to pick up your pet’s medication or food, we can take payment over the phone and bring it to your vehicle.
Again, OUR HOSPITAL WILL REMAIN OPEN unless dictated otherwise by local health authorities. We continue to take extra measures to disinfect the hospital.
**IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY SYMPTOMS SUCH AS FEVER, COUGHING, OR RESPIRATORY DISTRESS, PLEASE CANCEL ANY PROCEDURES FOR YOUR PET. If your pet becomes ill, please call the office so we can try to arrange something for you.
